Mr Pinder is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon with a special interest in hand and reconstructive surgery. He joined the Hull Plastic Surgeons in April 2017, and is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at the Hull & East Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust (since June 2014).
He is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, and a member of both the British Association of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS) and the British Society for Surgery of the Hand (BSSH).
Mr Pinder graduated from the University of Leeds Medical School and completed my plastic surgery training in Yorkshire. He undertook specialist fellowships in Leeds and at the Birmingham Hand Centre during which time he achieved The Diploma in Hand Surgery through the University of Manchester and the BSSH.
He is an accomplished general plastic surgeon, and has a special interest in hand surgery and reconstructive surgery for skin cancer. During his fellowship at the Birmingham Hand Centre he gained considerable experience in the management of Dupuytren’s Disease with Collagenase injections.
Mr Pinder believes in holistic patient care and recognises the importance of enabling patients to make informed decisions about which treatment options are best for them. He is committed to delivering high quality care from the outset.
Outside of work he enjoys family life, as well as the outdoors. He used to be a keen hockey player, and runner, but has now been convinced to explore the country on a bike, his new found hobby! He also enjoys fishing in particular flyfishing for salmon and sea fishing.
