After his medical graduation, Mr Kotwal did his post graduation in General surgery and then came over to the United Kingdom where he completed his Higher Plastic Surgical Training. He has done fellowships in reconstructive breast surgery at Chelmsford, UK and microvascular surgery at Leeds.
Mr Kotwal is the Council member of the British Association of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery and is the Regional Speciality Advisor for Plastic and Reconstructive surgery for the Royal College of Surgeons. He is also the Governance lead for the Hull and East Yorkshire NHS trust Major Trauma Centre.
Mr Kotwal provides a wide range of surgical procedures that include lumps and bumps, mole removal, skin cancer, breast augmentation, breast reduction, breast lift(mastopexy), breast reconstruction following cancer surgery, abdominoplasty, liposuction, blepharoplasty, browlift and facelift.
He believes in providing a tailored approach to each patient to meet individual needs and he values the satisfaction of his patients the most.
Personal profile
Mr Kotwal was born and brought up in Nagpur, India. He came over to UK in 2002 where he completed his Plastic Surgery training. His hobbies are tennis, badminton, cricket and cycling. Mr Kotwal’s wife Ashwini is a Consultant Paediatrician at Hull Royal Infirmary.
