Mr Alastair Platt has worked as a Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon since 2001. His NHS practice is based at The Department of Plastic Surgery, Castle Hill Hospital, Cottingham, East Yorkshire. He is an honorary Senior Clinical Tutor for the Hull York Medical School.
Muhammad Riaz has worked as a Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon since 2001 and currently works in the UK at The Department of Plastic Surgery, Castle Hill Hospital, Cottingham in East Yorkshire.
James Haeney is a highly trained and well-respected Plastic Surgeon who moved to the East Yorkshire area in 2010. He qualified from Cambridge and Oxford Universities before commencing surgical training in a number of large UK teaching hospitals. He is the clinical lead for the Plastic Surgery Department in Hull.
Mr Paolo Matteucci is a fully accredited Plastic Surgeon who has been on the Specialist Register for Plastic Surgery since 2011 and a full member of the British Association of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons.
Mr Kotwal is the Council member of the British Association of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery and is the Regional Speciality Advisor for Plastic and Reconstructive surgery for the Royal College of Surgeons. He is also the Governance lead for the Hull and East Yorkshire NHS trust Major Trauma Centre.
Mr Pinder is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon with a special interest in hand and reconstructive surgery. He joined the Hull Plastic Surgeons in April 2017, and is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at the Hull & East Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust (since June 2014).
Miss Kelemen is a UK trained consultant Plastic Surgeon specialising in head and neck reconstructive surgery within Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. Miss Kelemen offers a wide range of surgical and non surgical interventions, both aesthetic and reconstructive, promising minimal visible scarring and excellent functional results.
Gale is the Practice Manager for the Hull Plastic Surgeons. She is responsible for liaising with the patients ensuring that appointments and operations are booked for both Mr Platt and Mr Riaz.
Annette is a registered nurse who assists Mr Riaz with surgical procedures in the operating theatre. She is responsible for liaising with the respective operating departments and ensuring that the correct equipment is available for Mr Riaz and his patients.
I completed by nursing at the University of Hull in 2002, and worked in trauma and orthopaedics during which time I studied at the university of Huddersfield, I left the NHS and worked at the BMI Hospital in Sheffield for 3 years caring for cosmetic and other surgical patients.
Sandra’s role in the practice is administrative assistant and will be happy to help in any way possible. Sandra has worked in the plastic surgery department, along with Gale, in an administrative capacity for 17 years.
