The team at Hull Plastic Surgeons are astounded to hear today that Channel 4 are going ahead with their programme the Surjury. A group of participants will pitch to a jury regarding their wish to have cosmetic surgery. We are very concerned that this trivialises the potentially life changing, both positive and negative, impacts that cosmetic surgery can have for the purposes of entertainment. We strongly believe that all decisions about cosmetic procedures should be made with specialists who can explore individual patients aspirations and develop a bespoke treatment plan with them.
